It is the beginning of a new season. Spring season is mostly associated with fertility and fresh food production. At the first rays of light crops are being sown in the soil and kick start the agricultural season. And soon enough everything will bloom, ready to be harvested. The core of everything this time of the year is progress. Days and nights become milder, flowers and plants bloom, and days become longer. Nature blossoms and Herbert Engineering shifts into the same perspective with it.
Herbert Engineering is in full growth and we are expanding. Earlier this year at the Fruit Logistica fair in Berlin, we introduced our newest state-of-the-art sorting machine; the Oculus 1000. Following the introduction of the Oculus 1000, as of February 2017, Herbert Engineering has strengthened the team with Gerard Bos. Gerard is appointed as the new Sales Manager of Herbert Engineering.
In his function, Gerard will be responsible for sales and consultancy of our complete range of machines and solutions. With years of experience in the agricultural sector, a wealth of knowledge of specific soil types, growing regions, weather conditions and market conditions of the different types of crops, Gerard is a great addition to our team.
Gerard Bos; “Herbert Engineering has a very diverse client base. Therefore, they all face specific challenges to process their fresh pack products as efficiently as possible. Due to my great interest and experience in the field of agriculture, mechanization and automation of processes, I would gladly welcome the opportunity to face those challenges with our clients and together formulate the best solutions possible.”
