Peru Meet Up brings together global leaders to share perspectives

Meet the industry experts who will share key strategies for success in the Asian market at the inaugural event in Lima

Walmart’s Mark Adamy and Fernando Bustamate; Sharath Loganathan of India’s Ninja Cart; Eric Zheng, of Goodfarmer and Pablo Ramirez of Sun World International are among the top-level speakers that will take the stage at next month’s inaugural Asia Fruit Logistica Peru Meet Up, which takes place on 28-29 October at the Swissotel in Lima.

Following the success of the Asia Fruit Logistica trade fair and China Meet Up, the event will bring together fresh produce professionals from across the Latin America region and beyond for two days of knowledge sharing and networking centred on improving connections between South America and the rest of the world, with a particular focus on the fast-growing Asian market.

The event combines a high-quality content programme, curated by Fruitnet and the International Fresh Produce Association (IFPA), with ample opportunities to network and build business connections in a relaxed setting.

These include round tables where local producers can meet with buyers from Asia and beyond, a business networking luncheon, two networking breaks and an evening cocktail reception.

The first day of the programme shines a spotlight on the global trading and market outlook. Iván Marambio of Frutas de Chile, Gabriel Amaro of Agap, Eduardo Brandão of Abrafrutas are among the industry experts sharing their insights into how Latin American suppliers can navigate the current trade turbulence and make the most of new opportunities it throws up.
