Ibero-American Meeting on Garlic Science and Cultivation

On October 7 and 8, the municipality of Pulpí in Almería will host the Ibero-American Meeting on Garlic Science and Cultivation, an event that will bring together more than 200 professionals from the main garlic-producing countries in Ibero-America. The event will place Spain at the center of the international debate on the present and future of this strategic crop

The main objective of the meeting is to promote scientific, technical and business cooperation among Ibero-American garlic-producing countries. To this end, the event will feature the participation of researchers, producers, exporters, marketers and institutional representatives, who will discuss key issues.

The meeting’s objectives include: fostering the transfer of scientific and technical knowledge, promoting the exchange of business experiences, designing joint strategies to improve the global competitiveness of garlic and establishing international alliances in research and marketing.

The organizers include the Associations of Garlic Producers from Ibero-American countries, together with ANPCA (National Association of Garlic Producers and Marketers of Spain), S.A.T. No. 9989 Peregrin —a leading company in the Almería sector— and the Pulpí City Council.
