Promoted by Macfrut, Befve&Co, and Interco Nouvelle-Aquitaine, the synergy between the two events arises from the complementarity of operators in these product categories, as many asparagus producers are also small fruit growers. Additionally, in some cases, the same suppliers and traders are involved in both sectors.
With a packed schedule of activities, the program combines the expertise gained from five editions of the International Asparagus Days with the innovation of the very first edition of International Berries Days, fully dedicated to berries.
The event will kick off on Wednesday, October 7, with a full day of technical visits: asparagus-focused visits in the Gironde region (to Vignobles Bouillac and the Lebourg production center), and berry-focused visits in Lot-et-Garonne (St Armand nurseries, Fruits Rouges du Confluent, and the Aquisol production center).

On Wednesday, October 8, and Thursday, October 9, the exhibition event will take place at Planasa in Bordeaux. Alongside the trade show, several field activities are scheduled, offering a comprehensive approach with a variety of presentations: strawberry research, introduction of new asparagus varieties, blueberry field tours, asparagus replanting demonstrations, and a conference titled “Innovations to Improve Grower Performance (Genetic and Technical Traits).”
The event will conclude on Friday, October 10, with a berry-focused tour in the Dordogne region. This includes a visit to the Lanxade Interprofessional Technical Center for Fruits and Vegetables, the Invenio experimental station, and a final stop at the Teychennè family farm.
