Bayer and Kimitec have announced the launch of two new biological products resulting from their alliance: Ambition Complete Gen2 and Ambition Secure Gen2. Both are currently in the registration process and will be added to Bayer’s portfolio as crop performance enhancers, in line with its commitment to regenerative agriculture.
Ambition Complete Gen2 is an innovative gel formulation that enhances nutrient uptake, stress resilience, and metabolic activation in plants, resulting in more efficient performance.
Ambition Secure Gen2 addresses one of the most persistent challenges in plant nutrition: calcium uptake. Its bio-formulation, developed from an active matrix, improves calcium mobility and efficacy in crops, enhancing fruit firmness and quality.
“Our alliance with Kimitec sets a new benchmark in how we bring solutions to market: fast, focused, and with the farmer as the top priority,” said Ralf Glaubitz, Head of CP Product Team Fungicides, Biologics and Fruits & Vegetables at Bayer’s Crop Science division. “Thanks to Bayer’s recognized global capabilities in development and commercialization, combined with our expertise in agricultural systems, we help drive and consolidate nature-based biological solutions that complement the farmer’s toolbox.”
Both products were developed at the MAAVi Innovation Center, Kimitec’s research hub, which integrates microbiology, natural chemistry, artificial intelligence, and agronomic knowledge to design practical and effective solutions for the field.
