Maf Roda showcases post-harvest technology with AI and robotics at Fruit Attraction

Maf Roda will once again participate in Fruit Attraction, and in this edition it will present major advances in automation applied to post-harvest processing, with a special focus on solutions based on artificial intelligence, smart robotics and operational efficiency. At its stand, the company will showcase its latest innovations in image grading, capable of analyzing fruit in real time and determining its quality category with greater precision. These technologies, integrated into next-generation software, allow faster, more accurate and adaptive defect detection, becoming a key tool for operational decision-making.

AI solutions

During the event, visitors will be able to experience its new AI Station, where advanced software already operating in systems such as Globalscan 7, Cherryscan and Berryscan will be showcased interactively, covering a wide range of fruits such as citrus, apples, avocados, cherries, blueberries and stone fruit, among others. Maf Roda will present new software lines specially designed to meet market demands, with 100% AI-based solutions for citrus and avocado featuring advanced self-adjustment and automation capabilities. In addition, new software for cherries, blueberries and stone fruit incorporates a redesigned interface to provide a more agile and intuitive user experience, along with a substantial improvement in analysis accuracy through AI.

The company will also present the Line Pack for stone fruit, a fully automated alveolar packing system that enables continuous fruit orientation and distribution. This high-capacity robotic packing solution automates key processes, effectively addresses labor shortages and contributes to reducing production line costs.

New addition

In this edition, Strauss, a company recently acquired by the Maf Roda Group and specialized in the processing of white, purple and green asparagus, apples, leeks and similar vegetables, will have its own independent stand, where it will present its innovative sorting and processing technology. This includes the G OptiSort Series, a machine specialized in asparagus grading equipped with an advanced cleaning system that optimizes resource use and a powerful optical camera for automated quality assessment. Its modular design provides great versatility, allowing the solution to be adapted to the specific needs of each client.

Maf Roda invites all agri-food professionals to visit its stand in Hall 10, stand 10D21, to discover first-hand the latest innovations and learn how these solutions can optimize fruit and vegetable processing. Attendees are also encouraged to visit the Strauss stand, located in Hall 14, stand 14C15, with cutting-edge technologies for asparagus processing.
