With an expanded area of 2,768 m², the space will bring together 140 exhibitors, both fruit and vegetable producers and agricultural equipment companies. France’s presence under the Taste France and Choose France brands in Hall 6 highlights the country’s role as an international benchmark in the production and export of quality fruits and vegetables.
Quality and traceability
France is committed to the quality and richness of its agricultural offer to meet the expectations of the Spanish market. In 2024, France became the leading European supplier to Spain in total fruit and vegetable volume, with around 1.1 million tons imported. French leadership is particularly notable in the case of vegetables, driven by potatoes, followed by lettuce, cabbage and beans.
This translates into a consolidated presence in premium distribution channels in Spain, where consumers demand high added-value products with guaranteed origin. Traceability is a fundamental axis of the French agricultural sector, backed by recognized labels such as PGI (Protected Geographical Indication) and PDO (Protected Designation of Origin).
Commitment to sustainability
France’s commitment to responsible production is also reflected in the equipment presented: recyclable or compostable packaging and agricultural equipment designed to reduce environmental impact. These innovations support more resilient production in the face of floods and droughts and promote eco-responsible practices such as “zero waste” or the use of biodegradable materials. The High Environmental Value (HVE) certification reinforces its commitment to sustainability and agroecology.
