It was only in March that BerryWorld strawberries won the prestigious gold medal at the 2025 New Zealand Outstanding Food Producers Awards, with BerryWorld raspberries collecting a silver medal.

At this month’s 2025 Superior Taste Awards, hosted by the International Taste Institute in Brussels, products across BerryWorld’s whole portfolio were recognised by the jury, which was made up of a panel of more than 200 world-class chefs and sommeliers.

BerryWorld’s latest additions, Reyes raspberries, Sweet Karoline blackberries and Eves Joy strawberries, picked up Sweet Taste Awards, as did established varieties Jewel raspberries, Eves Delight strawberries and Eureka blueberries for the second time.

“This success wouldn’t have been possible without the hard work of our expert grower-base and breeding partners at BerryWorld Plus, Edward Vinson, and Mountain Blue,” said Samuel Rowe, divisional CEO for BerryWorld Varieties. “These awards reflect our commitment to excellence in flavour and innovation. We’re proud to see both our well-established, as well as our most recent varieties, celebrated on the global stage by independent experts.”
