ILIP commits to circular and tailor-made packaging

The Bologna-based company confirms its presence in Berlin with a complete range of products for fresh fruit and vegetables, from standard packaging to tailor-made solutions. At the heart of this offering is the T2T R-PET® circular economy model and the design support of the Sprint department

From 4 to 6 February, ILIP will take part in Fruit Logistica 2026, the leading international trade fair for the fruit and vegetable sector, to be held in Berlin, Hall 5.2 – Stand D-51, reaffirming its role as a key partner for sustainable packaging for fresh fruit and vegetables.

At the show, ILIP will present its complete range of Fresh Produce Packaging solutions, including punnets, trays and fruit nest trays, designed to meet the diverse needs of packaging, protecting and enhancing fruit and vegetable products. This is a broad and modular offering that allows customers to rely on a single supplier for different applications, with the aim of providing an integrated service throughout the entire supply chain.

A core element of this proposal is ILIP’s strong commitment to the circular economy, embodied in the T2T R-PET® (tray-to-tray) process. Thanks to the vertical integration of recycling within the ILPA Group, of which ILIP is part, the company is able to produce new R-PET packaging using not only bottles, but also post-consumer trays and punnets, returning the recycled material to its original application. This virtuous, “future-proof” model ensures quality and traceability while reducing the use of virgin raw materials, and already complies with the requirements of the new European packaging regulation regarding recycled content percentages and material origin.

Alongside its standard products, ILIP will highlight the work of its Sprint department, dedicated to the development of customised packaging solutions. Through a collaborative, customer-oriented approach, Sprint supports brands and packers in designing tailor-made packaging optimised in terms of functionality, production performance and sustainability, addressing the specific needs of each product, production line and target market.

“In fruit and vegetables, packaging quality is measured by its ability to protect the product and preserve shelf life, but also by the efficiency it delivers throughout the entire supply chain,” says Gianluca Tamagnini, Business Unit Manager Fresh Produce Packaging at ILIP. “At Fruit Logistica, we are presenting a complete range of punnets, trays and fruit nest trays, combined with tailor-made design support and a well-established circular economy model such as T2T R-PET®.”

Participation in Fruit Logistica 2026 therefore represents an opportunity for ILIP to strengthen its dialogue with the international market and reaffirm its position as a reliable and competent partner, capable of combining innovation, sustainability and service, with packaging solutions designed to support the ongoing evolution of the fruit and vegetable sector.

From 4 to 6 February 2026, at Hall 5.2 – Stand D-51, visitors will be able to meet the ILIP team and discover all the packaging solutions dedicated to fresh fruit and vegetables.
