What solutions does XEDA offer in the field of labelling?
We have a comprehensive range of fruit and vegetable labels, manufactured in France under BRC certification. We offer various materials—paper, polypropylene, and compostable—tailored to each client’s requirements. All components used in our labels comply with food safety and contact regulations.
What role do compostable labels play?
They are mandatory in France, although a transition period has been established. In Spain, for now, they are only used when required by the customer, depending on the supermarket chain they work with. Despite their higher cost, some of our clients already use this type of sticker.
And regarding labelling systems?
We offer automatic systems, such as the BCAP and LMB models, as well as manual equipment, both pneumatic and battery-powered. Among the automatic ones, we have the BCAP machine, which operates at a head rate of up to 240 per minute, and the LMB, a high-speed model that can process between 500 and 840 fruits per minute. Automatic labelling is suitable for packaging in boxes, trays, sizers, and bulk formats.

We don’t sell the machines; instead, we offer them for rent, conditioned on the purchase of our labels. It’s a very practical model for customers. Automating the labelling process significantly reduces labour costs and improves quality and brand image.
Can these systems be used for all types of fruit?
Yes, although each fruit presents its own challenges. An avocado is rough, a kiwi is fuzzy, and a peach with delicate skin requires specific adjustments in pressure and adhesion. Our technology adapts to achieve precise and successful results while preserving product quality.
What is your typical client profile?
We mostly work with large-volume companies, although we are always open to finding solutions for businesses with other levels of demand.
Where are the labels manufactured, and how is the group structured?
The labels are produced at Eurolabel (France). Eurolabel and XEDA Ibérica are part of the XEDA International group, a specialist in postharvest products since 1976. The group operates globally, offering coordinated international service.
