The group, a global benchmark in grading, sorting and automation for the fresh produce sector, will recreate its own MAF RODA Village, an exhibition space covering more than 500 m² located in Hall 4.1 – Stand C10, where visitors will be able to see the company’s latest innovations operating live.
Expansion of the technology portfolio
One of the main new developments will be the presentation of solutions for dates, a sector that has traditionally relied on manual handling and which MAF RODA has decided to address with technology capable of handling the fruit with extreme delicacy while analysing key parameters such as dehydration level and loose skin.
Robotics will once again play a central role in the company’s proposal. In Berlin, visitors will be able to see the LINE PACK operating live—one of the most advanced case-packing lines in the group’s portfolio—equipped with artificial vision and designed for high-volume production environments where fruit must be oriented and placed into alveolus trays, with or without a box. Alongside it, DUAL FAST PACK will demonstrate how this technology can also be adapted to installations with more moderate production rates.
The group will also showcase its new asparagus graders, marking its entry into a new segment. With this addition, the company expands its reach to another commodity with high commercial requirements and a growing demand for automated solutions.

For more delicate crops such as cherries, MAF RODA will present a complete line encompassing grading, electronic sorting and automatic packing into punnets—a configuration designed to meet the quality and speed requirements characteristic of this product.
All of these technological solutions are underpinned by what the company identifies as its main strategic commitment: the integration of real, fully operational Artificial Intelligence across all its electronic sorting systems. This AI layer makes it possible to achieve higher levels of precision in the detection of both external and internal defects, positioning MAF RODA as one of the most advanced players in the industry in terms of intelligent automation. At Fruit Logistica, visitors will be able to see first-hand how these systems analyse fruit and make decisions in real time.
Launch of the new corporate website
Coinciding with its participation in Berlin, MAF RODA will also unveil its new corporate website. The platform has been redesigned to offer a more intuitive user experience and to provide access to almost the entire group catalogue, as well as to automation solutions segmented by fruit type and production volume. The company describes it as “a complete gateway to the MAF RODA universe” for those seeking an at-a-glance understanding of the group’s technological solutions.
With this combination of advanced robotics, applied Artificial Intelligence and an expanded portfolio addressing new products, the company aims to make its space at Fruit Logistica a key reference point for sector professionals. “We invite all visitors to discover in the MAF RODA Village how these technologies operate in real time and how they can transform their packing facilities,” the company states.
