As every year, Caparrós Nature will be present at IFEMA in Hall 9, stand 9D07, to meet up with customers and visitors, and to inform about its products, benchmarks in flavour and quality. Both distinguishing marks that permeate its catalogue.

This time, they will present Maravilla, a new tomato with a very special flavour that will delight the most demanding palates who are seeking traditional flavour.

This new reference has been added to an extensive catalogue in the search for excellence. “Every day we make a special effort to offer customers top-quality produce, which is the reason we specialise in fruit that are difficult to grow, achieving supreme quality and flavour, such as the Lobello plum cherry tomato and the seedless watermelon Caparrós Premium, both Flavour of the Year 4 years running, the spreading tomato Laloba, the beefsteak type, Rosamary… all exclusive brands.”

On the 4th of October, the former Spanish national football team coach, Vicente del Bosque, ambassador for Lobello and Patron of Honour of the Fundación Pedro Caparrós, will visit the stand.

A significant commitment to bio

“During this campaign we are going to underscore and make a significant commitment to ecological produce with the Caparrós Bio range that we started 3 years ago. To do this, we have acquired some new premises in the PITA (Almeria Technology Park), exclusively devoted to marketing and packaging this line.” In its bio portfolio it has: vine cherry, vine and plum tomatoes, California peppers, courgettes, cucumbers and mini watermelons.

More sustainable

Caparrós Nature is the 2nd company in Spain to join the Ministry of Agriculture and Fishing’s Sustainability Decalogue. “Along these lines, with our desire to improve our environmental commitment, we have carried out a self-consumption solar panel installation to improve our use of renewable energy. It includes a monitoring system that follows the energy results in real time.”

Constant adaptation

Looking towards the new campaign, they are showing the optimism that characterises the company. “We are achieving constant growth. Over 38 years devoted to quality reap their fruits.” In spite of the significant global uncertainty, “alongside our farmers, we have shown our capacity to adapt to adversities: in the pandemic and now with a war in Europe and an excessive rise in costs. We have to carry on working, side by side.”
