Montosa, a leading company in avocados, mangoes and guacamole, has expanded its logistics operations in Perpignan with the acquisition of a new warehouse. The company is thus multiplying its capacity for the French market, moving from facilities of around 300 m² to more than 700 m².

Located within the Medina 4 logistics complex, part of Groupe Primever, this new setting provides Montosa with an infrastructure suited to the current needs of its customers in France. It also enhances the efficiency of the company’s supply chain in this market.

“In recent years we have grown significantly and consistently in France. This made it necessary to align our capacity with the real demand of our customers in the country. It was time to expand and optimise our logistics processes,” said Thierry Athimon, Commercial Director at Montosa.

A strategic step for guacamole

In addition to the increase in capacity, the new facilities will allow Montosa to maintain a continuous stock of fresh guacamole in France.

“We aim to start storing stock of our flagship product, fresh guacamole, in Perpignan in the near future. This will enable us to ensure a smoother distribution process and be closer to French points of sale. Our ultimate goal is to be closer to our customers, offering the best personalised service and always with the freshest products,” Athimon added.
