The exhibition space assigned to date totals 70,000 m², representing an 8% increase compared to the same period last year. With these figures, the outlook for the upcoming edition is highly positive, with forecasts of over 2,500 exhibiting companies, 75,000 m² of fruit and vegetable offerings, and more than 120,000 professional visitors from 150 countries.
Fruit Attraction 2025 marks a major milestone in its trajectory, consolidating its position as one of the world’s leading fruit and vegetable trade fairs. It also strengthens its leadership with strategic expansion and a new sector layout designed to optimise the experience for both exhibitors and visitors. This year, the event will occupy 10 halls (3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 12 and 14), turning Madrid into the global hub for fresh produce marketing.
Odd-numbered halls will feature the latest innovations from Spanish companies, including the Innova&Tech area in Hall 5. Even-numbered halls will host European companies (Halls 4, 6 and 8), global individual exhibitors (Halls 8 and 10), companies from the Americas (Hall 12), and exhibitors from Africa and Asia (Hall 14). The Fresh Food Logistics area will be located in Hall 4. Most halls will also include Auxiliary Industry areas, ensuring that the entire value chain of the sector is represented.
Tomato to be the featured product
This year, tomato will be the featured product, taking centre stage with various initiatives highlighting its importance. As the most consumed vegetable in Spain, its production plays a key economic role in the country.
The 2025 edition will also spotlight organic products, with specific actions to highlight stands featuring certified organic offerings at Fruit Attraction.
Buyers programme and invited countries
The renowned International Buyers Programme will return, alongside the Guest Importing Countries initiative, with Mexico and Malaysia featured in this year’s edition.
Exhibitor recognition and innovation awards
For the second time, Fruit Attraction will host the Best Stand Awards, recognising creativity, design, and sustainability across four categories:
Most Original Stand
Best Stand Design
Most Sustainable Stand
People’s Choice Stand Award
As in previous years, the Innovation Hub Awards will also be held, recognising the best project, product or service for the sector, based on innovation, sustainability, applied technology, and knowledge. All entries will be displayed in the Innovation Hub (located between Halls 4 and 6) throughout the three-day event.
A knowledge hub for the fresh produce sector
Once again, Fruit Attraction will serve as a major knowledge centre, hosting a packed programme of technical forums and congresses. These will feature a diverse range of content and high-level speakers and participants. Among the highlights are Grape Attraction, the Biofruit Congress, and Fresh Food Logistics The Summit.
