The initiative, which is already underway and will conclude in August, aims to bring healthier products to market while preserving local biodiversity.
To implement the project, Moyca will follow the guidelines provided by Zerya—the company promoting the initiative—regarding the use of fertilizers and phytosanitary treatments. Once the project is completed and the harvested fruit is analyzed, Zerya will issue a certificate confirming the results.
This certification will make Moyca the first table grape producer accredited by Zerya, opening the door to new commercial opportunities in international markets.
Alejandro Riquelme, Head of the Food Safety Systems and Processes Department, highlighted the value of the project as “a way to continue our commitment to sustainability and offer our customers the highest quality grapes while caring for the environment around us.”
