Bayer has appointed Pierre Larrieu as Head of the Crop Science Division for Spain, Portugal, and North Africa, a position he has held since July 1. He succeeds Protasio Rodríguez and will be responsible for overseeing a broad portfolio of crop protection products, seeds, and agronomic and digital tools to drive regenerative agriculture.
Pierre Larrieu holds a degree in Agricultural Engineering from the Ecole d’Ingenieurs de Purpan in Toulouse (France) and is also a farmer on his own land. He brings over twenty years of experience in the agricultural sector, having led marketing and sales teams in France, Mediterranean countries, and, for the past eight years, in Spain and Portugal.
