With nearly half a century of experience, Atlántica Agrícola has remained at the forefront thanks to a firm commitment to innovation.
The company focuses on two flagship lines: Archer® and Atlanticell. Both ranges represent Atlántica’s commitment to a more technical, sustainable, and results-oriented agriculture.
Targeted solutions for specific needs
The Archer® range stands out for its specific approach and highly specialised formulation. “They are targeted solutions: each product is designed for a very specific need,” explains Olga Peña, agricultural engineer and commercial delegate for Almería, Granada, and Málaga, with more than 25 years of experience in the sector.
Among the most in-demand products is Archer® Eclipse, a calcium-rich sun protector ideal for preventing fruit sunburn during periods of high radiation. Another example is Archer® Ruptor, which supports the dormancy-breaking process, encouraging more uniform and earlier flowering. Archer® Zucchero, in turn, mobilises sugars toward the fruit, improving weight, size, colour, and Brix content. The range also includes products like Archer® Force, to strengthen plant defences, and Archer® Osmocare, widely used in crops like tomato and watermelon for its high content of organic osmoprotectants, such as glycine betaine, as well as calcium and magnesium—key during critical stages like tissue formation, fruit setting, and ripening.
Microorganisms working for the soil
The other major line is Atlanticell, focused on biostimulation and soil care. These products are developed using consortia of microorganisms such as mycorrhizae, Pochonia, Trichoderma, or nitrogen-fixing bacteria. Standout formulations include Micomix, Tricomix, Pochomix, and Nitromix, which not only regenerate and activate soil microflora but also improve the absorption of key nutrients like phosphorus and iron, and encourage earlier crop production.

“There’s growing awareness of how important it is to care for the soil,” Peña emphasises. “Intensive soils are heavily degraded, and these products allow us to maintain living soil—we’re seeing earthworms again, which also play a symbiotic role in improving ecosystem health and soil fertility. Thus returning to living soil.”
Organic and conventional: compatible strategies
Atlántica has also built a significant range of certified organic products. But even beyond this label, the commitment to zero-residue solutions makes them suitable for use on conventional farms without breaching the limits set by European supermarkets.
Peña is clear: “The key lies in combining strategies. It’s not about excluding active substances, but about reducing them and complementing them with tools such as biostimulants or microorganisms.”
In this balance between effectiveness and sustainability, the company continues to rely on long-standing classics like Biocat-15 and Razormin—an organic amendment of plant origin and a biostimulant that continue to set trends.
The experience accumulated and the trust built with farmers have allowed Atlántica to open doors even in the most sceptical cases. “Many producers who used to reject organic solutions now demand them—without realising they were already using them,” the delegate concludes with a smile. Because in expert hands, innovation isn’t imposed: it’s proven in the field.
