Companies in the sector continue to back these awards to give value to their online marketing.

The online universe is ever-changing and evolving and the commitments by the sector for online marketing reflect this. This year’s disappearance of the Star for the Best X (formally Twitter) is a sign of this. Elon Musk has carried out changes that have not been popular with everyone and this has been reflected by the fact that only one company presented a nomination.

However, tools that are more appropriate for companies have had greater success, such as websites or blogs.

Elisa Pumed, Agrifood journalist. She works with the specialised press and she also carries out communication work with several companies. Co-director of the Expert Course in Agrifood Communication and Chairwoman of the Association of Agrifood Journalists of Spain, APAE.

Ramón Arias, Journalist. He is currently the Communications Manager in Spain for a conglomerate of companies that manage promotional agrifood campaigns. His latest project is the European Dissemination Programme of PDOs and PGIs, “A Slice of Quality”.
