Spanish fresh produce exports to the EU increased by 10% compared to the same period last year, with growth across the main markets: Germany rose by 12% to €1.117 billion, France increased by 9% to €567 million, and the Netherlands grew by 7% to €332 million.
Exports outside the EU also rose by 7%, reaching €724 million, accounting for 19% of total exports. The United Kingdom was the leading non-EU destination and the third largest market overall, with €496 million, up 7%.

In terms of volume, exports of Spanish fruits and vegetables to the EU during the first two months of the year reached 1.9 million tonnes, 83% of the total and 2% more than the same period in 2024. Exports outside the EU totalled 405,644 tonnes, representing 17% of the total and a 4% increase, according to data from the Department of Customs and Excise Duties, processed by FEPEX.
