Cole leaves the company after 21 years, during which he played a key role in driving BerryWorld’s expansion and strengthening its position in the fresh berry market. Having joined the business in 2004 as an account manager, he progressed through the organisation to become managing director, leading a period of sustained growth and transformation.
Under his leadership, BerryWorld UK significantly increased its sales, tripling turnover over two decades as a result of strong volume growth and an expanded market presence. His tenure also contributed to the consolidation of strategic partnerships and the development of high-performing teams within the organisation.

Avery steps into the role after two and a half years as commercial director, bringing continuity and extensive internal experience. He originally joined BerryWorld in 2006 as an infrastructure engineer before transitioning into commercial positions, where he developed expertise across sales, supply chain operations, product management and production.
His broad knowledge of both the company and the wider industry positions him to lead BerryWorld UK through its next phase of development, maintaining its growth trajectory in an increasingly competitive fresh produce market.
