30% rise in ORRi this year

Orri Running Committee (ORC) is optimistic about the 2023/2024 campaign and foresees a 30% increase in production compared to the previous year.

According to the latest estimates, in this campaign the ORRi variety could reach its maximum production, similar to the one obtained in the 2021-22 campaign.

Guillermo Soler, Manager of the ORC, explains, “as usually is the case with the premium mandarin ORRi, the new campaign that is about to start is expected to bring maximum quality fruit and good calibres, in general. On this basis, the ORC is going to continue working to ensure that the producers obtain the best return possible, and, for this reason, we are proud to see how, year after year, the ORRi mandarin continues to obtain the best prices in the fields.”

“We are going to continue putting the emphasis on all the links in the supply chain, developing attractive promotion actions, in line with previous campaigns, which have been giving us very good results, with the only aim of increasing the presence of the ORRi mandarin in each and every one of the points of sale,” states Soler.

The excellent conservation qualities enjoyed by ORRi allow them to be available in points of sale from January to June, with top quality fruit.
