The sector’s leading international trade fair is scheduled to take place from 4 to 6 February 2026 at the Messe Berlin exhibition grounds. A broad portfolio of 100% “Made in Italy” products—bearing the hallmarks of quality, sustainability and varietal innovation-—will be presented to national and international supply chain businesses.
Products
Key products on show include Dulcis® kiwifruit, Candine® and Joya® apples, Angello® seedless mini- peppers, Tang Gold mandarins, as well as a wide range of strawberries and citrus fruits. High-volume and reliable supplies for both Italian and international retailers are underpinned by substantial investments in varietal innovation.
A significant new development for this year’s event is Apofruit’s expansion into Italian avocado production, currently being spearheaded by producer members in Calabria. The programme, drawing on the Group’s technical expertise and established local partnerships, aims to promote avocado cultivation using a sustainable approach. By focusing on organic and integrated production, the initiative seeks to offer high-quality fruit that meets growing European demand.
“Participation in Fruit Logistica 2026,” comments Ernesto Fornari, Managing Director of the Apofruit Italia Group, “represents a vital opportunity to consolidate relationships with our international partners and showcase the evolution of our product portfolio—the result of research, expertise and passion. We are particularly proud to bring the avocado initiative to the attention of industry professionals, as it embodies our vision of sustainable growth and varietal innovation, alongside the full excellence of ‘Made in Italy’ produce.”
