The Persimon Group from Anecoop is planning to market 90,000 tonnes this season.
The Group is the first producer and marketer in Europe, having sold 71,000 tonnes in the 2014-2015 season.
Established in the year 2009, it brings together 26 persimmon producer cooperatives. It is a mono-product association, which is aimed at standardising the technical, qualitative and marketing criteria to correctly produce and market this fruit.
