Idyl’s ecological solution

The French company Idyl is joining nature to create ‘Tribu Ecolo’, a brand with which it intends to bring economy and ecology together.

Using the premise that in nature everything is transformed rather than destroyed, Idyl is selling its tomatoes in ecological containers made from the recycled fibre of its tomato plants, using the name of Tribu Ecolo.

In this way, the company wants to demonstrate that it is possible to produce, package and consume, whilst simultaneously reducing the consumption of natural resources.

In order to create this packaging, the stems and leaves of the tomato plants are collected and crushed. The fibres obtained are mixed with recycled paper and the result is the product that is used to create the packaging. It may be said that this packaging is 100% recycled and recyclable.

With this approach, Idyl wants to respond to the needs of ecological produce consumers and producers and to move forwards in the conservation of the environment.
