New Fitó Organic range

Fitó Organic offers the best certified fruit and vegetable varieties for ecological production

The solid growth of the ecological market is a reality that already means sales of 33,500 million euros per year in Europe (data from 2016), with an expenditure per consumer of over 40 euros per year, and an exponential growth since the year 2000 of almost 400% in terms of ecological sales and around 200% in production surface area.

Consumers, distribution and countries in general, are demanding more and more ecological produce. The seeds are an important part of the process and can also be produced and certified following ecological protocols.

This is Semillas Fitó’s commitment: to produce seeds of its most important, recognised varieties on the market for aubergines, tomatoes, cucumbers, courgettes, melons or sweet corn, certified as ecological, in order to be able to offer 100% ecological produce from the seed that is planted, passing through the production system, until it reaches consumers.

The result is the new Fitó Organic range, which is based on more sustainable farming methods, protecting both the environment and the climate. Fitó Organic’s seeds come from vegetables that have been harvested following a strict ecological/organic cultivation method. The process used to obtain ecological seeds meets all the ecological regulation requirements and therefore is certified and identified on the packets with the Fitó Organic badge and the certifying body’s logo.

This new catalogue includes successful varieties from the company, which have been on the market for years, such as the Ateneo tomato; Amalia, Crital and Nerea aubergines: cucumber varieties such as Encina, Mitre and Tejo; Robledo and Soleares melons; Brillante and Tiziano courgettes, as well as the sweet corn, SF 1280.
