More flavour in less space
Good things come in small packages, therefore CASI presents its new line ‘Princess by CASI’, a selection of the best watermelons, where their flavour and size are concentrated to offer us a different concept, full of opportunities. Smaller pieces, easy to carry and with an even sweeter taste.
With almost 75 years of experience supporting quality, CASI, the reference cooperative in the sector, is showing its status of guarantee of flavour and dedication to its customers, by stating the many qualities that its ‘Princess’ watermelon yields.
For Manuel Segura, sales manager of the company from Almeria, the expectations for this new concept are very high, “both for the guarantees that we offer, and for the many advantages in size, flavour and colour that only ‘Princess’ can guarantee”.
CASI is launching its watermelon campaign with this new line, where the level of experience that it has reached with ‘Reina de CASI’ stands out, “a fruit that is consolidated on the market and a reference amongst our customers who are familiar with the flavour and quality of our watermelons”, Segura affirms.
In this campaign CASI’s watermelon production will increase by around 15%, meaning around 300 hectares devoted to watermelons, a specific bid by the veteran cooperative with regard to this summer fruit. As with the ‘Reina de CASI’, ‘Princess’ watermelons are supervised in the fields by a specialised Technical Department during their entire cycle; likewise, a team of expert cutters determine the perfect moment of ripeness for their harvesting in order cover the most demanding of consumer expectations.
