Tecnidex, “Eco…Logical” solutions

TECNIDEX sede

Fruit Attraction is the setting chosen by Tecnidex, Fruit Protection to present its new developments for 2017

The company has obtained the certification for 14 solutions for use in ecological fruit and vegetable post-harvest, products and technologies certified by CAAE (a certifying organisation specialising in Ecological Production).

Likewise, the company has started up the renewal process of the registers of its products based on tiabendazole: Textar® 60T, Textar® Extra, Textar® AL, Teycer® C2I + 5T, Teycer® C CONSERVACIÓN C2I + 5T y Teycer® C3I + 5T. “This will allow us to present at this fair the fullest catalogue based on formulae that not only protect the fruit and vegetables against any possible disease in the post-harvest period, but also their skin, allowing fruit that is healthier both on the inside and on the outside to be marketed,” its chairman, Manuel García-Portillo explains.

True to its history, Tecnidex, which boasts 6 subsidiaries and exports to over 25 countries, once again this year is committing itself to internationalisation, adapting and completing its catalogue on the different markets. This year, Tecnidex has obtained new registers in different countries such as the Scholar® register in Italy, which extends its final register for its post-harvest use and that can now be used for kiwis, stone and pip fruit and citrus fruit. Additionally, in line with its expansion in Latin America, it has registered some key fungicides in Peru to control post-harvest diseases in citrus fruits.

Peru is where the company has decided to go a step further in its internationalisation process and in 2017 it established a new subsidiary, Tecnidex Per Fruit, the first in South America and with which it intends to strengthen its presence in the southern cone. The subsidiary has a technical team that make it possible to give the necessary response to its clients whenever they need it.

This year, in Hall 6 – Stand C06 at Fruit Attraction, TECNIDEX has a larger space in order to be able to display all its new developments and solutions in post-harvest and to give better attention to all its visitors.
