The company will also present its latest developments for protection and conservation, amongst which the Textar® range stands out, along with its ECO…LÓGICA line.
At this edition, in addition to the new products and technologies, Tecnidex is launching the agreement it reached at the end of last year with AgroFresh, the world leader in post-harvest, by which the latter has acquired 75% of Tecnidex. By way of this agreement, Tecnidex is going to continue developing its project both in Spain and in the world, whilst having all AgroFresh’s technologies, research and global distribution at its disposal.
Tecnidex will show its most comprehensive, effective catalogue, with least environmental impact for the protection of fruit after harvesting, emphasising its line of ECO…LÓGICA solutions, which includes the certification of products and use of technologies for the treatment and protection of ecological fruit and vegetables during the post-harvest period.
Likewise, the company will present its new technology CONTROL-TEC® CAM PURE AIR, a new air purifying system of the storage rooms that incorporates two techniques, sterilisation and absorption. This allows the pathogen spores present in the air of the storage room to be eliminated, at the same time as reducing the amount of ethylene present, providing an optimum conservation in a purified atmosphere, without fungi and without leaving any kind of residue on the fruit.
Associated with this technology, in order to control the ripening process, the company has launched the Textar® PURE AIR system, which reduces the amount of ethylene in the ripening room without leaving any kind of residue on the fruit, in this way lengthening their shelf life by using ethylene absorbers for storage rooms, containers and boxes of prepared fruit.
In addition to these latest innovations, TECNIDEX also has in its catalogue, post-harvest fungicides using exclusive products, amongst which Scholar® and Tecto stand out. Another of the exclusive products is Bravatia®, indicated for the control of a wide range of pathogen fungi, including Geotrichum candidum in citrus fruit.
The company also has an important technical team that helps its customers anywhere in the world, VÍA-VERDE®, advising them about the different aspects that require their activity in post-harvest.
At this edition, TECNIDEX will share its stand with GLOBALG.A.P, one of the company’s important collaborators, with which it shares the aim of guaranteeing Fruit and Vegetable Health and Food and Environmental Safety. Specifically, it will be in Hall 5.2, Stand D-08. AgroFresh, which once again will not miss this important event, will be in Hall 21, Stand A-04.
