ASIA FRUIT LOGISTICA strengthens tech focus with FRESHTech

ASIA FRUIT LOGISTICA, the leading international trade show for Asia’s fresh produce business, announces the launch of FRESHTech — a new platform dedicated to fresh produce technology, debuting at ASIA FRUIT LOGISTICA 2026 in Hong Kong from 2–4 September

Bringing together a curated exhibition zone, a two-day content stage and the inaugural FRESHTech Innovation Award, FRESHTech creates a focused space where technology providers and fresh produce businesses can connect, exchange ideas and explore solutions ready to be applied across the value chain.

FRESHTech reflects where the fresh produce industry is heading. Technology is becoming central to how the sector improves quality, manages risk, increases efficiency and responds to new market requirements,” said David Axiotis, Managing Director of Global Produce Events, organiser of ASIA FRUIT LOGISTICA. “By bringing the Zone, Stage and Innovation Award together within ASIA FRUIT LOGISTICA, we are creating a platform where cutting-edge innovation will meet real industry demand.”

A focused destination for Fresh Produce Technology

At the heart of FRESHTech is a purpose-built 1,000+ sqm exhibition zone featuring a curated selection of technology exhibitors spanning the full spectrum of fresh produce technology — from smart agriculture and crop forecasting, postharvest sorting and grading, packhouse automation and cold chain technology, to AI and data intelligence, traceability, compliance, sustainability and carbon management.

Located within ASIA FRUIT LOGISTICA, the zone gives technology exhibitors direct access to the buyers, importers, retailers and supply chain decision-makers who make up ASIA FRUIT LOGISTICA’s global attendee base — an audience actively seeking practical solutions to improve operations across the fresh produce value chain.

For technology companies looking to participate, an all-inclusive exhibitor package combines a fully equipped booth with a FRESHTech Stage presentation slot, buyer invitation support, networking access and promotional exposure before, during and after the show — helping exhibitors maximise visibility across multiple touchpoints at ASIA FRUIT LOGISTICA.

Anchor exhibitors confirmed for the inaugural edition include Copeland, Sensitech, Daikin, Xsense, Aerobotics, DECCO Postharvest, Anhui Lesui, Sinclair and many more alongside a strong line-up of emerging solution providers and innovators.

“We are thrilled to be part of FRESHTech at Asia Fruit Logistica,” said Copeland. “As technology continues to transform the fresh produce supply chain, this dedicated platform provides the perfect stage to connect with industry leaders and present the solutions driving the future of our sector.”

FRESHTech Stage: Bringing the technology conversation to life

Running alongside the exhibition zone, the FRESHTech Stage hosts two days of expert-led sessions, keynote discussions, and panel conversations, exploring how innovation is being applied at each critical step of the fresh produce journey, from production through to retail.

Day 1, From Field to Port, focuses on the upstream and midstream journey — from smart production and crop forecasting to postharvest handling, automation, quality control and cold chain decisions.

Day 2, From Port to Plate, shifts the conversation to market access, compliance, traceability, supply chain visibility, retail demand and consumer-facing innovation.

Across both days, speakers with direct commercial experience will share how technology is being tested, adopted and scaled across the value chain.

FRESHTech Innovation Award: Recognising one breakthrough solution each year

FRESHTech will also launch the inaugural FRESHTech Innovation Award, an annual award organised by ASIA FRUIT LOGISTICA to recognise one breakthrough technology with the potential to reshape the fresh produce value chain. Open to technology companies and innovators with solutions launched after January 2025, the Award will spotlight practical innovations across production, postharvest handling, logistics, supply chain visibility, compliance, sustainability and retail.

The Award jury brings together senior representatives from across the fresh produce value chain — including growers, exporters, retailers and technology users — selected to ensure diverse, independent evaluation. Further jury members will be announced in the lead-up to the event.

Shortlisted finalists will be invited to present their solutions on the FRESHTech Stage in front of decision-makers, gaining targeted exposure within Asia’s leading fresh produce trade show. The winner will be announced during ASIA FRUIT LOGISTICA 2026.

Applications for the FRESHTech Innovation Award close on 31 July 2026. To learn more or submit a nomination, visit:  https://www.asiafruitlogistica.com/freshtech-innovation-award/
