MAF RODA is presenting its new software for citrus fruit quality

MAF RODA is presenting two important development lines that the company has been backing for many years now: quality systems and automatic boxing robots.

The company’s quality analysis systems are renowned worldwide for their accuracy and efficiency, and with these new developments, a great leap forward has been made. In recent years, MAF RODA has been working on making the task as simple as possible for users of their equipment. Their aim: to ensure that managing the installations is the least of their clients’ worries. With the latest generation of their quality systems, they have gone a step further in this mission.

The new, revolutionary latest generation external quality analysis system for citrus fruit can be adjusted with just one click. Thanks to its Artificial Intelligence, the system can readjust itself either automatically and/or just by simply clicking on the photos of the fruit. Hundreds of parameters will no longer be required to adjust the line. With just two, it can now be handled with greater accuracy. This makes handling much easier and allows clients greater autonomy, while maintaining the detection efficiency of the Globalscan 7.

In addition, this software that is now being launched for citrus fruit is totally compatible with the Globalscan 7 hood, which means that only the software needs to be acquired, without the cameras or the hood having to be replaced.

Line Pack Citrus, the new boxing robot

The other important new development is the Line Pack Citrus, a new citrus fruit boxing machine that can guide the fruit for boxing according to the client’s requirements. With this new preparation robot, the boxing process becomes completely automated, as it not only draws a personalised mosaic with oranges or mandarins, as already integrated in the SpeedPacker V8, but it also guides the stalks, completely replacing the traditional preparation tables.

Furthermore, the quality system’s interface both for blueberries and for cherries has been simplified to make it more intuitive and easier to handle. The new, much more visual format allows adjustments to be made more directly and faster to the quality levels and the detection level.
