The company from Murcia is presenting new business lines that range from bio aromatic plants, to lettuces for dipping, Asian vegetables, mini carrots or fresh sweet corn
Fruit Attraction is the space chosen by El Dulze to demonstrate its wide range of new developments. The company, as highly innovative as ever, has always stood out as a highly technological company, where quality always has priority over any other parameters.
Endorsed by the experience of a decade in the world of aromatic plants, El Dulze has taken a step further to concentrate on the bio segment.
In the 6,000 square metres of the “El Mirador” greenhouse, very close to the main centre, all the different stages of the plant are controlled: sowing, placing in sectors by varieties, fertilising and irrigation according to specific requirements. “Owing to the important product restrictions for biological aromatic plants, the programme must be carried out in an exclusive greenhouse,” explains José Carlos Gómez, an executive from the company.
The company can adapt to any order very fast due to the proximity of the nursery to the main centre and to the permanent availability of a human team, which also aids the development of new varieties.
“Our goal is always attaining perfect quality, just as we do with other products,” Gómez comments.
Another new development is “Crunchita” (by Rijk Zwaan), a very crunchy, sweet and fresh snack lettuce with spoon-shaped leaves that allow it to be used for dipping, even with hot products.
The creation of its own brand, Vegisan for its new line of Chinese vegetables will also make its debut at the trade fair.
The bio snack mini carrots will also be another of the innovations that will be shown for the first time in Madrid. In a 150 gram format, we will find tender carrots, measuring between 10 and 12 centimetres, sweet-flavoured and which do not need their skin to be removed.
The fresh sweet corn (de-leafed or not) for barbecuing will be another of the new options by the company from Murcia.
