The new Strategic Plan is starting to bear its fruit and a Persimmon trade line has been opened for Dubai.
Exquisite Fruits, the fresh fruit and vegetable marketing and export company, located in Gandia, Valencia, is about to open up new markets. In fact, over the past few months the procedures necessary to send its produce to a new destination, specifically, the Middle East, have been underway.
And the fact is that, as Daniel Vidal, CEO and sales manager of Exquisite Fruits, explains, “within the strategic plan that we have laid down for the short and medium term, opening up new markets for our produce is essential in order to increase competitiveness, and this is the direction we are working in”. Therefore, countries like the United Arab Emirates or Saudi Arabia are fundamental for the company’s growth and development. In this way, and thanks to the work and the expansion plan, a new export line has been opened up, specifically exporting Persimmons to Dubai.
Vidal guarantees that he feels satisfied with this new line “we are at the very beginning, opening up a new market in a new country, within this complicated world of the fruit and vegetable sector. We are now starting to export to the Middle East and we hope that this line not only works, but that it becomes consolidated and it grows. The aim is that the new trade strategy that we have laid out contributes to the company’s growth”.
Exquisite Fruits is highly consolidated on the European continent, where over 90% of its produce is exported to countries such as Germany, Holland, the Czech Republic, Austria, Latvia, Lithuania, Belarus, amongst others, with the remaining 10% going to the home market.
