This year they expect to improve their figures and to this they have not stopped innovating, improving the efficiency of their processes.
2017 was a great year for Frutas Montosa. The company from Malaga has increased its sales volume by 10%, reaching an invoicing of 120 million euros and 30.6 million kg of fresh produce marketed. For 2018, the goal is to continue working to improve the figures for another year, although achieving this goal “depends on the supply and demand at any given moment.”
At Montosa, famous for its innovative nature, “we are always working on new formats to meet our clients’ needs.” The company continues growing in the production area, both for fresh and processed produce, to improve the efficiency of the processes and to guarantee maximum quality. The latest example was the restyling of its brand ‘Native’ for processed produce, presented at the last edition of Fruit Attraction, and that they will take to Fruit Logistica (Hall 18 A-06). This new image is the result of a long search and it is completely different to the previous one. “We wanted to emphasise the greater benefits that we offer with our processed produce, that is to say, the high percentage of natural fruit contained in our guacamole (95% avocado) and mango sauce (90% mango). We also wanted to project a much more eye-catching, careful and natural image that is appreciated by our clients,” sources from the company explain.
At the Berlin trade fair, visitors will be able to see its entire range of produce on a stand that continues to hold the essence of last year’s: with slight modifications to the outer image, fresh produce display units and a refrigerated area for processed produce with all its references and brands to show the diversity of products on offer. “This event is very important for us due to the many visitors who attend and are interested in our business. It is the perfect place to see our clients and suppliers again, to discover the latest developments in the sector and to carry out commercial research.”
Currently, Frutas Montosa exports 55% of its produce, concentrating its activity on the European market, although it has not taken its sights off the increasingly important Asian market, even if the company is not looking at this destination in the short term.
