It is the first customs representative to obtain Bureau Veritas certification.

Partida has become the first customs representative in Spain to obtain the Criminal Compliance certification from Bureau Veritas, the system for the Management of Prevention and Detection of Crime that is applied to customs activity. “This management procedure involves zero tolerance for irregular and illegal actions in our sector, at the same time as promoting transparency, communication and collaboration with the administrations relating to customs, para-customs, port and law enforcement ”, explains Álvaro Partida, assistant manager and head of Sales and Communications at the company.

In order for this policy to become real and effective, Partida needs its personnel to be 100% involved. Likewise, it has suitable communication channels to immediately communicate and notify the relevant organisms.

“By implementing Compliance, plus the AEO (Authorised Economic Operator), we have reached a position as a reference company in the sector and above all, we are consolidating the trust placed in us by our portfolio of clients, suppliers and governmental institutions.”

More digital

The company is finalising the details for launching its new website in the near future and it is in the middle of the final implementation process of the new software that it will use to digitalise its tracking operations in the different departments.

“We are joining the digitalisation trend aimed at using more efficient internal tools for our everyday work and being able to give added value to our clients, providing them with a tracking system so that they can know the status of their goods at the port.” Greater transparency is achieved with this procedure. “We are showing whether we are flexible or not in our work. Once the goods have been dispatched, clients will immediately be notified so that they know that our work has been done and that the goods can leave the port on course for their destination. Obviously, clients will no longer need to ring, send emails or text messages to find out all the details.”
