Mantiana and Fragaria are the new brands incorporated by Ràfols Fruits in 2017
Mantiana for apples and Fragaria for strawberries are the two new brands, which are added to the Catalonian company’s already well-consolidated trademarks, ExòticsFruits and RàfolsFruits.
“Times have changed, and we have realised that our clients are looking for diversity; additionally, this change will allow us to have greater control over the produce and carry out our own promotions,” explains Eduard Ràfols, manager of the company.
With the new Mantiana proposal, the company takes part in the entire production process, meaning it can guarantee the highest quality standards.
The fruit from Fragaria (strawberries and red fruits) is exclusively harvested for Fruits Ràfols. The brand represents an environmentally-friendly producer. “We carry out weekly quality checks, and we try to give greater importance to the producer and his production, presenting pesticide-free, integrated production fruit,” Ràfols qualifies.
The balance between local productions and those shipped by air and sea is well-defined by the company, as well as its offer, which, in addition to having its own brands, also works with others of renowned prestige in the sector.
“Working with the right producer is a key factor for our company because it guarantees us high quality and we have always been characterised as looking for the best offer, either locally, seasonally, produced here or from other cultivation areas. Quality is always the most important aspect,” the executive comments.
The company, which carries out its activity in halls B and G, has acquired a 2,000 m² warehouse, which it is refurbishing and that will have 6 positive cool storage rooms to ensure the best product conservation until delivery to clients. These installations are environmentally-friendly since they have CO2 technology and they will start operating next autumn, in 2018.
Coinciding with its three decades of life, the company is growing and is targeting investments in solutions to offer its clients the best produce and service.
