Sigfrido will open its new head offices in December

The company continues to increase its sales volumes and this campaign it has arrived with new developments such as an app and a restyling of its packaging

In just four years, the company led by Sigfrido Molina has multiplied its sales volumes (they sell over 2.5 million kilos of fruit per year). Moreover, it has made its own niche in the tropical fruit sector with a groundbreaking, highly eye catching image that will be even more so now after the latest restyling that has been carried out on the Sigfrido brand mango boxes. “More colour and added value” are the keys to this design of its best known brand, to which another two of its flagships are added: Retamosa and Chispita. Amongst the company’s new developments is the commitment to varieties such as Keitt, which allow the national mango production to be extended and the purchase of a new 10 hectare farm to continue increasing its own production line of avocados. But if there is something that is going to mark out this campaign in the company, it will be the move to its new head offices in the Food Technology Park in Vélez-Málaga. Facilities built on a plot of 4,400 metres that will be ready at the end of the year and will allow them to cope with the growth in demand. This action, which includes the acquisition of new latest technology machinery in calibration and the adaptation to certificates that will mean they will be able to work with the most demanding clients, is a real milestone for the young company from Malaga.

“Avocados are in fashion and mangos are following suit”, Molina states. And the company is contributing to the growing interest in tropical fruit through actions on social networks (they work with influencers and bloggers who, in turn, help them with the branding), and many participations in the area of sport. This year alone they have supported initiatives such as that of the Montero brothers in Iron Man, the Arena HandBall Tour, the Mountain Bike Race in the Region of Malaga and sponsorship or support for basketball and football clubs.

Convinced of the power of social networks and in short, the digital world, at Sigfrido they have renewed the online store and they have become the first company in its segment with its own app where users can find suggestions to create daily menus or prepare original drinks based on mango and avocado.

Don’t miss any of its new developments and visit them on their stand at Fruit Attraction (Hall 9, C01A).
