The first 100% custard apple juice

Customers are delighted with the new product from Frutas Los Cursos, along with their new mango juice

Frutas Los Cursos’ idea to bring added value to its tropical fruits is receiving some very positive results. Last summer, Fruit Today advanced the launching of its new fresh-cut and ready-to-eat line, and throughout this time the natural fruit juice line (custard apple and mango)  has managed to conquer the palates of all those who have tried them. The authentic flavour and nutritional properties, along with the fact that they are totally natural and healthy (without pasteurisation and no added sugar), is their main asset, according to Antonio Rodríguez Guzmán, sales manager from the company. In addition, the custard apple juice has been more surprising, if possible, because it is the first time it has been marketed. Along with the juices, they have custard apple and mango pulp, along with two versions of guacamole, mild and spicy, as well as the ecological alternative. All of them are marketed with the new brand name, Premium Frutas Los Cursos, in large supermarkets.

Sustained growth

The company from Granada is specialised in the production and marketing of fresh tropical fruits. They have custard apples, avocados, mangos and medlars, all of them as conventional crops and they also have an ‘eco’ line of custard apples with 200,000 kilos per year. Most of their sales go to the international market (60%), serving top quality produce 12 months of the year with the brand names Frutas Los Cursos, Soan and Exquissitta, to which the brand name Premium has recently been added.

In this 2018 campaign, they expect to continue with the sustained growth that they have been experiencing for the last few years, exceeding the 20 million kilos and 18 million euros in invoicing with which they closed last year.
