The changes form part of the company’s strategy to further develop its brands, expand commercial opportunities and strengthen its presence in international markets where demand for differentiated fruit varieties continues to grow.

Moloney to lead development in new markets

Previously Chief Marketing Officer at BLOOM FRESH, Fiachra Moloney now moves into a newly created position focused on growth and market development.

During his time leading the marketing function, Moloney contributed to strengthening the company’s international presence and developing initiatives aimed at growers, marketers and retailers.

Key projects included the launch of BOOMBITES™ Red Berry Grapes, the relaunch of Cotton Candy™, and the expansion of engagement initiatives across BLOOM FRESH’s global grower, marketer and retailer network.

In his new role, Moloney will focus on strategic markets including Europe, China, India and Southeast Asia, identifying new commercial opportunities and strengthening partnerships to expand the presence of BLOOM FRESH varieties and brands.

“Fiachra has made an outstanding contribution to the business and has been instrumental in helping position BLOOM FRESH for long-term growth,” said Josep Estiarte, CEO of BLOOM FRESH.

Jennifer Sanchez appointed Chief Marketing Officer

Jennifer Sanchez joins BLOOM FRESH as Chief Marketing Officer, bringing more than two decades of experience in the fresh produce industry.

Throughout her career, she has held leadership roles at companies including Driscoll’s, Green Giant® Fresh and Sun World International, working across brand marketing, customer engagement, market intelligence and commercial strategy.

Based in the United States, Sanchez will lead BLOOM FRESH’s global marketing organisation, overseeing brand strategy, consumer marketing, customer engagement, market intelligence and communications.

Locating the role in the US reflects the company’s intention to strengthen collaboration with retailers, growers, marketers and commercial partners across the Americas, while continuing to support the growth of its global business.

“Jennifer brings exceptional industry expertise, deep customer insight and a proven track record of building successful produce brands,” Estiarte said.

Closer alignment between marketing and commercial development

With the two appointments, BLOOM FRESH aims to strengthen alignment across marketing, customer engagement and market development.

Sanchez and Moloney will work in complementary roles to expand commercial opportunities, reinforce strategic partnerships and continue developing the positioning of the company’s brands and varieties.

“By strengthening both our marketing leadership and market development capabilities, we are positioning BLOOM FRESH for the next stage of sustainable global growth,” added the CEO.

BLOOM FRESH International develops and supports proprietary table grape, blueberry and cherry varieties, drawing on its fruit-breeding programmes and international network of growers and partners.

The company places varietal innovation, sustainability and the development of differentiated brands among the key pillars of its international growth strategy.
