The Internet Stars Awards are celebrating their sixteenth anniversary as one of the events associated with Fruit Attraction, highlighting the digital communication efforts of fresh produce companies at each edition.

Organised by Fruit Today magazine, sponsored by Euro Pool System and Proexport, and with the collaboration of Fruit Attraction and Fepex, the awards were created to recognise and showcase the work carried out by companies in the sector to communicate and connect with consumers through digital channels.

The Internet Stars Awards ceremony has become one of the most eagerly awaited events during Fruit Attraction.

This 16th edition features seven award categories. These are the finalists in each one:

The Jury

The three members of the Jury who will assess and vote for the finalists in each category of the Internet Stars Awards are:

LUCÍA MORALES

A graduate in Business Administration and Management from the University of Almería, she currently works at ACRENA SAT No. 251, where she is part of the Marketing and Human Resources departments. At the same time, she also devotes part of her time to helping with her family’s farming business.

Lucía is also an agricultural communicator on social media, where she shares the reality of the sector from an accessible, young and contemporary perspective. Her aim is to raise the profile of agriculture, highlight the work of farmers and bring society closer to the effort, planning and dedication behind every piece of fruit and vegetable.

ORIOL LUQUE

Head of External Communications at AECOC, where he develops communication strategies, manages media relations and produces specialised content on the main challenges and trends shaping the consumer goods sector.

He previously worked at communications agencies including LLYC and Tinkle. He holds a degree in Journalism from Ramon Llull University and a Master’s degree in Digital Marketing from La Salle.

ÁNGEL RUEDA

Audiovisual communicator, entrepreneur and creator of Que No Te Cuenten Calorías. After more than two decades working in audiovisual production, advertising and marketing, he founded his own production company. He later reinvented his career and qualified as a Senior Technician in Dietetics.

Now based in Copenhagen, he has collaborated with media outlets including TVE, La Sexta, Televisión Canaria, Cadena SER and COPE. In 2024, he received the Pitch Elevator Award in Bilbao, while Que No Te Cuenten Calorías was featured on the cover of Emprendedores magazine as an emerging company.

They will be responsible for selecting the winners, whose names will be revealed on Wednesday, 7 October at Fruit Attraction, at the Proexport stand (7D09).
