Following the recent launch of its subsidiary, the Spanish company takes a decisive step in its internationalisation strategy by officially presenting its technological ecosystem designed for Italian agri-food networks.
With the aim of becoming a benchmark partner for companies and cooperatives in the country, the Hispatec Italy team will showcase the integration and data intelligence capabilities of its solutions in Hall D5, stand 137. This first trade fair presence in the country marks the beginning of a key phase for Hispatec, which seeks to export to Italy its “from field to market” efficiency and traceability model that already leads in Spain and Latin America.
The Spanish group Hispatec—with more than 200 professionals and over 750 clients in more than 30 countries worldwide—brings to Italy the only digital ecosystem that natively and integrally covers the entire agri-food chain: from agronomic management in the field to international logistics, including storage, packing, marketing and management control. A proposal built over decades of experience in the most demanding fruit and vegetable markets in the world.
Technological ecosystem
Founded 40 years ago in Almería and a recognised leader in the AgriFoodTech market in Spain and LATAM, Hispatec has developed over time a complete technological ecosystem for agribusiness, with its own offices and structures in nine countries—Spain, Portugal, Mexico, Colombia, Peru, Chile, Brazil, Costa Rica and now Italy—and projects carried out in more than 30 countries across five continents. The group currently has more than 200 professionals and over 750 active clients across Europe, Latin America and Africa.
With Hispatec Italy, the group brings to the national market not only a new corporate presence, but also an integrated digitalisation model for the agri-food sector, built on a logic that starts in the field and supports every stage—from field operations to production, logistics and administrative management—through to delivery to the final customer. The objective is to build a stable presence over the next three years and become a key partner for high-value agri-food chains.
The choice of Italy as the first key European market for direct investment is based on solid data. According to ISTAT, in 2024 the value of Italian agricultural production reached €74.6 billion. The country ranked first in the European Union in agricultural added value (€42.4 billion, source MASAF), and agri-food exports exceeded €70 billion. A sector of this scale and international projection requires management tools that match its complexity.

The technological offering currently available in the Italian market is fragmented and mainly focused on pre-harvest and solutions designed for small companies.
Hispatec positions itself in a different space: that of complex value chains, large producers, cooperatives and producer organisations that need to integrate data and processes across the entire value chain.
Companies and operators interested in learning about Hispatec’s solutions will be able to do so directly at Macfrut (Rimini, 21–23 April 2026), the leading Italian trade fair dedicated to the fruit and vegetable supply chain. Participation in the event represents the official launch of Hispatec Italy in the national market.
Antonio Samaritani, General Manager of Hispatec Italy, states: “The Italian market shows a growing need for tools that help companies manage operations, quality, supply chain and financial control in a more connected way. What we offer is not just another vertical software solution; it is the possibility of having a single, robust source for all processes across the value chain, from the field to the final customer. The objective of Hispatec Italy is to support this evolution with a strong local presence, an industrial approach and a technological offering designed to turn data into a real driver of efficiency and competitiveness.”
A unique ecosystem: the entire chain on a single platform
Hispatec’s competitive advantage is structural and difficult to match: no other operator in the Italian market currently offers a native digital ecosystem that integrates the entire agri-food chain continuously, from the field to the final customer.
Hispatec’s solutions are not standalone modules connected through later integrations; they are designed to share the same data and provide a unified, real-time view of all processes. Data recorded in the field automatically feeds post-harvest management; production costs are directly transferred to industrial accounting; shipments are monitored using the same qualitative information generated at the packing stage.
