Citrosol is coming to this edition along with a delegation from FLC Technologies to “give first-hand information about our services to the clients and visitors who want to come to our stand,” the company’s CEO, Jorge Bretó, underscores. Citrosol will be located on stand A-25 in hall 18, and at this edition it will have a new design “to generate a greater visual impact” amongst guests to the fair.
As it is an essential event for clients from all over the world, the International Operations Manager, Raúl Perelló, comments that “Citrosol’s personnel abroad will also travel to Berlin to attend the visitors from the international markets, where we also supply our services and products.”
Technological tools
Citrosol has a strong, continuous commitment to technological development, and Fruit Logistica is the perfect setting for the international launch in real time of the tool Citrofy, a platform that allows real time connection of the systems and control of the application parameters, with access from any device connected to internet.
At the fair, the company will carry out demonstrations for visitors to be able to see the system live and to check how it works.
The ranges demanded by the market
Ecological and vegan products continue to be a market trend and the users are increasingly demanding solutions that can be used in non-conventional agriculture. The BIOCARE by Citrosol range is presented as an ally for less food waste, giving a starring role to the wax-based vegetable extract coverings PlantSeal®, which exercise excellent control over staining due to cold damage occurring during the cold quarantine periods or lengthy refrigerated transport.
Another of the most popular solutions is the Citrocide® Fresh-Cut System for hygienic washing of fruit and vegetables for Fresh-Cut ranges, which improves the food safety as it minimises the risk of cross-contaminations through the water or the washing machine, at the same time as generating significant energy savings and lower water and carbon footprints due to maintaining the washing water in hygienic conditions for much longer, therefore aiding its reuse.
