LUV – The Table Grape Fair is strengthening its international positioning.
Following the recent announcement of its collaboration with Fresh Focus Grape/Fruitnet Grape Congress, a new milestone has been added to the development of a platform designed to foster global dialogue within the table grape industry: the partnership with the 11th International Table Grape Symposium (ITGS), taking place from 28 September to 2 October 2026 in Murcia, Spain.
Key meeting point
The agreement reinforces LUV’s role as a key meeting point for the table grape supply chain. The next edition of the fair will be held from 20 to 22 October 2026 at the Nuova Fiera del Levante in Bari, Italy, with the aim of connecting production, research, varietal innovation, post-harvest technologies, logistics, distribution and international markets.
The partnership with ITGS is built on a shared objective: to bring the Mediterranean back to the centre of the global conversation on table grapes and to highlight Europe’s role in an increasingly competitive and technically demanding market. Spain and Italy are two strategic production areas, both characterised by highly suitable growing regions, strong agronomic expertise and common challenges: varietal renewal, quality, shelf life, commercial standards, cold chain management and the ability to ensure a consistent market presence.
Registration fee
As part of the partnership between LUV and the International Table Grape Symposium, industry professionals will be able to apply for a 30% discount on the Symposium registration fee.
The initiative is intended to encourage Italian participation in a major international technical and scientific event, while strengthening the presence of the national sector in the forums where the future of table grape production is being discussed.
The 2026 calendar therefore offers a valuable opportunity for the entire industry: first ITGS in Murcia, from 28 September to 2 October, followed by LUV in Bari, from 20 to 22 October.
Two separate but complementary events, creating a bridge between research, business and markets, and offering the European table grape sector two closely connected opportunities for discussion, professional development and international positioning.
For LUV, this partnership confirms a clear commitment to moving beyond the traditional trade fair model and to building in Bari a stable platform for relationships, knowledge exchange and strategic dialogue. European table grape production can rely on an outstanding technical and productive heritage, but global competition now calls for stronger coordination, closer market engagement, faster response to change and a more cohesive international presence.
