The Essentials from Uvasdoce

The company from Alicante is presenting its main seedless grape varieties at F. Attraction

As if dealing with a group of friends, this year at Fruit Attraction Uvasdoce is presenting us with the seedless grape varieties that they will be working with this campaign and over the next few years.

Of the almost 20 varieties that the grape producer from Vinalopó grows, this year four grapes will have starring roles. Each of them standing out due to one of their main characteristics: this year we will discover La Remolona, La Dulce, La Rarita and La Tradicional.

The company from Alicante will gift all the visitors to their stand (hall 5, stand 7B03) with an amusing little box that will contain each of these four varieties and in which they themselves will explain why they are known by these nicknames, and they will discover which variety they belong to. As well as being able to take them home, they may be tasted on Uvasdoce’s stand on Thursday and Friday in the dishes to be prepared by the chef Mario Piñol.

This year, the company from Monforte del Cid wants to back the use of grapes in catering and the hotel trade and not just as a dessert, and to do this they have used social networks to launch a recipe competition amongst cookery bloggers. The winner of this competition will be announced at Fruit Attraction, and the jury will be made up of the journalists from Fruit Today, Carmen Cabra and Sonia Cortés, the fruit and vegetable purchaser for Makro, Beatriz Domínguez, and the chef from Alicante, Mario Piñol. And obviously, you should not miss all the new developments that Uvasdoce will present in its line of products for New Year’s Eve.
