Some stories begin in the soil and reach their full expression around the fire. Bimi® has held a new edition of its annual event in Murcia, an immersive experience that showcases the journey of this vegetable from seed to plate. Under the concept Bimi® & Chill BBQ Day, the brand designed a unique event allowing attendees to discover, step by step, the full process behind this gourmet product: from cultivation and harvesting to its most authentic and flavourful expression, the grill.
The event brought together content creators, journalists and food professionals around a shared goal: to highlight everything behind each Bimi® stem. The journey began at the facilities of producer Deilor, where guests were able to explore first-hand the key stages that ensure product quality.
From the germination process in nurseries to manual harvesting—performed stem by stem under strict cold conditions—each phase reflects the care and precision that define this crop, right through to final packaging.
This journey from seed to plate reached its peak around the fire. The barbecue took centre stage thanks to Charry BBQ, expert grill masters who demonstrated how Bimi® reaches a new dimension when cooked over flames. Its flavour and texture, enhanced by fire, highlight its versatility and its ability to elevate any dish, even in its simplest form.

As official sponsor of the World Food Photography Awards once again, Bimi® also showcased an outdoor photo exhibition inspired by fire. This artistic proposal successfully combined agriculture, gastronomy and art in the heart of the fields.
The event featured well-known content creators such as Diego Domínguez (@diegodoal), Laura Martín (@missohlaura), Gema Marín (@nutrifitgema) and Carlos Jiménez (@ideasdelchef_thermomix), who together reach a community of nearly 2 million followers. “It was incredible to discover the origin of Bimi®, a product I’ve been consuming for years. Seeing the whole process up close, from cultivation to harvesting, was a wonderful experience,” said Diego.
Bimi®, a fast-growing vegetable
