Fruit Attraction will once again become a meeting point for agri-food innovation with a new edition of Biotech Attraction, the congress organised by BIOVEGEN and Fruit Attraction under the theme “New Frontiers in Plant Innovation”.
This event will showcase how plant biotechnology has become a strategic tool for improving the competitiveness of the agri-food sector, accelerating innovation and addressing some of agriculture’s main challenges, including sustainability, production efficiency and adaptation to evolving market demands.
The congress will also give attendees the opportunity to request bilateral meetings with other participants, encouraging direct contact between companies, research centres, technology organisations and investors interested in innovation projects.
The programme will address some of the main trends transforming plant innovation, ranging from the application of artificial intelligence and omics data management in breeding processes, with the participation of PLOID AI BIOTECH and Agrícola El Bosque, to the scientific and technological capabilities of leading centres such as IRNAS-CSIC, AINIA, CNTA and Fundación MEDINA.

It will also analyse the role of collaboration between companies, research centres and public administrations as a driver of innovation, with practical case studies presented by TIMAC AGRO and the GO PISTABIOTECH and GO VINEURO projects.
The 18th edition of Fruit Attraction, organised by IFEMA MADRID and FEPEX, will take place from 6 to 8 October and is expected to bring together more than 2,500 companies, occupy 162,000 square metres and attract over 121,000 professionals from 150 countries, further consolidating its position as one of the leading international events for the fresh produce industry.
