Fruit Attraction is not just a trade fair, it is so much more. A great amount of activities and symposiums take place over the three days that the event lasts. The Fruit Forum space, located in the connection point between halls 2 and 4, will be the area for congresses, speeches, debates and seminars of great interest for the sector.
Amongst some of the important congresses to be held, Biofruit Congress stands out: the 6th International Congress on organic fruit and vegetables. This forum will also host the 7th Grape Attraction Congress, centred on seedless table grapes.
Fruit Forum will be the setting for Packnet’s debate. “The keys to the circularity of fruit and vegetable packaging,” as well as the Seminar Biotech Attraction 2023. Simultaneously, and along the same lines, the forum in hall 5 will be the setting for the Biotech Attraction Forum over the three days of the trade fair.
The session of Lettuce Attraction will also play a starring role, promoting this produce as one of the most popular vegetables worldwide.
Around the hub point of halls 4 and 6, the 4th Fresh Food Logistic Summit will be held, organised by IFEMA MADRID and Alimarket, which will cover interesting subjects regarding chilled logistics.
Once again, Fruit Attraction is placing Fruit Next at exhibitors’ disposal: areas for training in halls 3, 5, 7 and 8 of the Show, where talks, presentations and technical seminars related to the latest developments in products and solutions for the fruit and vegetable sector will be developed. Fruit Next is an initiative promoted by the fair to give greater visibility and recognition to the effort and investment in R&D+i made by the participating companies.
Likewise, the trade fair is once again hosting the event defending the finalist nominations and prize-giving ceremony for the Innovation Hub Awards, convened by Fruit Attraction, aimed at recognising and valuing the effort in R&D+i in the sector as a whole and in each company in particular.
As has now become a tradition, the Trade Fair will be the setting for the prize-giving ceremony for the APAE Journalism Awards and the Fruit Attraction Awards, the latter dedicated to the prestigious international press in the fruit and vegetable sector.
And in the middle of September, the World Fresh Forum was presented to discover the business opportunities and the commercial challenges existing in the countries invited to this edition of Fruit Attraction: Brazil, the United States and Canada. Organised by ICEX España Exportación e Inversiones, IFEMA MADRID and FEPEX, the sessions may be viewed using the LIVEConnect platform.
Arranged by IFEMA MADRID and FEPEX, this year Fruit Attraction is celebrating its 15th anniversary from the 3rd to the 5th of October, with participation forecasts of 1,800 companies from 55 countries, over 58,000 m2 of fruit and vegetable offer and an estimated attendance of 90,000 professionals from 130 countries.
