LUV – La Fiera dell’Uva da Tavola will strengthen its international focus in 2026 with a dedicated programme of B2B meetings and visits to table grape growers and marketing companies in Puglia. The event will take place from 20 to 22 October at the Nuova Fiera del Levante in Bari

The aim is to bring local companies closer to international importers, buyers and retailers, combining business meetings at the exhibition with direct access to the production base of one of Italy’s main table grape-growing regions.

LUV 2026 international profile will be further strengthened by the participation of operators from different markets and production areas, with professionals expected from Australia, California, the United Kingdom, the Netherlands and Spain.

The event will also feature a partnership with Fruitnet and the Fruitnet Grape Congress, helping to broaden the discussion around markets, production and internationalisation.

15-minute meetings with buyers and retailers

One of the main commercial features will be the B2B Match, aimed primarily at exporting companies interested in meeting operators from Europe, the Middle East and the Arabian Peninsula.

The format will consist of 15-minute rotating meetings, designed to allow companies to meet several different contacts during the various sessions.

The objective is to facilitate direct discussions on products, supply, commercial requirements and potential partnerships, helping companies identify opportunities that can be developed further after the event.

This sessions will take place on Tuesday 20 October, from 2:30 pm to 5:00 pm, and on Wednesday 21 October, with two time slots: 10:00 am to 1:00 pm and 2:30 pm to 5:00 pm.

Company visits in Puglia on 22 October

The international programme will continue outside the exhibition venue on the final day.

On Thursday 22 October, buyers and journalists will take part in a tour of some of the main companies involved in the production, handling, packing and marketing of table grapes in Puglia.

Departure is scheduled for 12:30 pm from the Nuova Fiera del Levante in Bari.

The itinerary will include visits to Pavone Srl, O.P. Giuliano Srl, Fra.Va. Srl and Agricooper, located between Turi, Rutigliano and Noicattaro.

The initiative will give international operators the opportunity to see the facilities, processes and organisation of the companies first-hand, moving from business meetings to a practical understanding of the region’s production capacity.

Bari as a connection point with international markets

The tour will complement the B2B programme and reflects LUV’s ambition to consolidate its role not only as a forum for technical discussion, research and innovation, but also as a platform for commercial development.

Through this approach, the event aims to strengthen the link between the Italian table grape supply chain and international markets, bringing buyers and companies closer to one of the country’s main production districts.

LUV 2026 will therefore combine knowledge and business, positioning Bari as a meeting point between production, marketing and international demand.
