The assortment is based on supply continuity, consistent quality and a strong balance between traditional varieties and innovative proposals.
“We are ready for the final months of the season: we have a balanced availability in relation to expected demand and, thanks to our well-structured assortment, we are able to meet different needs until the end of the season,” said Klaus Hölzl, Sales Director at VOG. “Organic products are an important component of VOG’s offer. Year after year, we have made progress in terms of quantity and quality, but also in storage times and packaging, and we intend to continue along this path, consolidating our role as a reference partner for category management at the point of sale.”
A complete organic apple team
VOG’s organic apple offer is characterised by strong sensory richness, bringing together different varieties that ensure availability throughout the year. This result is made possible by the work of the 300 family farms in the Consortium that have chosen this cultivation method and carry it out with dedication.
“As also highlighted by the recent study carried out together with YouGov on purchasing and consumption habits in Europe, the organic sector offers broad development potential. It is already synonymous with quality, flavour and innovation, and it is a segment that continues to evolve according to consumption occasions,” added Hannes Tauber, Marketing Director at VOG.

Today’s organic consumer is informed and demanding. In addition to flavour and reliability, they are also looking for good shelf life, novelty and, above all, products with an identity that reflect values and lifestyles.
“For this reason, we work on a dynamic assortment, integrating innovative proposals alongside more established ones and strengthening VOG’s role as a driver of cross-cutting innovation. At the same time, we strive to make the shelf offer attractive and clear, in order to better guide purchasing decisions,” Tauber said.
Variety as a strategic pillar
One of the central pillars of the VOG team is variety: a solid and well-structured organic offer, with proposals for every stage of the season. Thanks to constant work on varietal innovation, VOG now guarantees an organic assortment available 12 months a year, with flavour profiles that respond to consumer preferences.
For spring and summer, the VOG team offers apples that are particularly suited to this time of year, thanks to their excellent storage performance and consistent quality. These attributes are increasingly recognised as a guarantee of sustainability, trust and value.
Among them, Natyra® and Inored Story® stand out for their modern sensory profile and their ability to respond to consumers seeking new taste experiences.

They are joined by a highly cohesive team: from traditional apples marketed under the Marlene® Bio and Biosüdtirol brands, which continue to guarantee recognition and stability, to distinctive and well-established brands such as Pink Lady® Bio.
Finally, innovations such as Cosmic Crisp® Bio, RedPop® Bio and Giga® Bio play a key role in enriching the range and supporting the development of the organic segment, while also appealing to younger consumers who remain attentive to trends.
This integrated approach allows the Consortium to offer the right apple for every preference and time of year, covering all consumer segments.
Innovation and continuity for the European market
“We will continue to listen to consumers and respond to their needs, investing in constant supply availability, assortment breadth and varietal innovation, which are the fundamental pillars for responding to market evolution,” concluded Hölzl.
“Every day, we work to integrate all these elements, progressively consolidating VOG’s role in the European landscape.”
