Grupo Caparrós is starting to celebrate the events for its anniversary at Messe

In 2019 the Grupo Caparrós is celebrating its thirty-fifth anniversary. An important date that the company from Almeria will start to celebrate in February, taking advantage of its presence at Fruit Logística in Hall 21, stand C-03. “We will make the most of this important framework to share the new corporate image, both the logotype for the company and for the business group, with all our clients and visitors, along with new formats for boxes, labels and obviously, new high-quality produce,” sources at the company state.

The Berlin trade fair has always been a very special event for the team, particularly since 2011, when they launched their trading subsidiary in Berlin, Caparrós Deutschland. The company has experienced a rising evolution in Germany, as in the other countries where it dispatches its produce, characterised by “a firm commitment to quality, innovation and diversification.” For many years, the Caparrós Premium brand has been recognised as a sign of quality on the most demanding markets and “it is our best business card for ensuring client and consumer loyalty, who demand complete confidence in the quality of the products they purchase.”

At this edition, alongside the Premium range of products such as Lobello cherry pear tomatoes, another two important references have been added, which were launched in December and that are being very well accepted on the international market. A beefsteak tomato marketed under the Caparrós Nature brand, and Laloba, with a very fleshy fruit, excellent flavour quality, especially for spreading.

Comprehensive sustainability

The new image sported by Caparrós is in line with the new comprehensive sustainability challenges it has assumed. Strongly convinced of the importance of social responsibility, they have focussed their production model on sustainable factors, aimed at promoting economic growth and, at the same time, guaranteeing environmental protection and social updating.

This philosophy has given them “many satisfactions.” In 2018, they have been recognised by the Ministry of Work for their good Business Practice in the Promotion of Health in the Workplace; they have been granted the Ágora Bienestar prize in Seville; the RSE Prize by the Almeria Provincial Council; Estrellas de Internet Award for the Most Social Web Site and the Expansion and Ifema Prize in the Social Company modality. The cherry on the cake for this intense work is Aenor’s certification as a “Healthy Company,” becoming the first Andalusian agrifood company to hold this certificate.

Behind each of these recognised actions there is a team of people who develop each of the ideas with the same enthusiasm and effort as they did for the first time. “Sustainability, which for us has survived over the years, in its social facet, has a high level of importance, because people must always come first”.
