The cooperative specialising in tomatoes has decided to extend its range with a new project which may be joined by farmers from west Almeria and all the current members from the Levant region, where 99% of the cooperative’s farms are currently located.
For this reason, CASI is now touching down in the areas of Vícar, La Mojonera and El Ejido, where it will harvest this produce for handling in the CASI brand warehouses.
“Our specialised department in Member Services is supplying information to farmers interested in working with us, explaining the steps required to join the cooperative”, sources form the company state. The main principle required will be having the top quality, food safety guarantee and be Environmentally-friendly.
The project will be one of the main communications that they will take to Fruit Logistica, where CASI has a space of 60 metres located in hall 10.2. In May, they will be present at the Infoagro Fruit and Vegetable Growing Trade Fair.
